Dr. Sylvia A. Hollins, Ph.D, NCC, LMHP-P

Dr. Sylvia A. Hollins is the CEO of OneTRYB Global, 5013c, which she founded in 2021 with a mission to help students in schools all over the nation get the help they need by improving the systems of the institutions that serve them. A nationally certified professional counselor with more than a decade of experience across K-12 and university settings, Dr. Hollins is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the College of Education at The University of Alabama. She holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education, along with a Master of Arts in Education and School Counseling from The University of Alabama, and she earned a consultant certification through Harvard University's College of Continuing Studies.
Dr. Hollins’s research, teaching, and advocacy focus on supporting individuals and families from minoritized backgrounds, advancing racial justice, and equipping school counselors and educational leaders to implement inclusive, equitable, and student-centered practices. Known for her energetic and empathetic communication style, she has extensive experience as an equity and racial justice trainer, delivering seminars, workshops, and professional development for educators, counselors, and leadership teams nationwide. As a DEI strategist and racial equity consultant, she has also designed and facilitated equity-focused conversations and organizational assessments that help institutions move from intention to sustained action.

Dr. Hollins’s greatest joy is her role as a mother. Her four children are her pride and joy and continue to inspire her deep commitment to advocacy, education, and community impact.
